FAQs

Who do you work with?

I work with a range of clients from the UK and around the world who want to sharpen their cross-cultural understanding in order to strengthen relationships with people of other cultures. This can be for any number of reasons including to support charitable initiatives, improve business opportunities, and enhance personal and professional development. As such, the majority of my clients either work in multicultural settings in the UK or live in other countries. Many do not speak English as a first language.

What can I be coached on?

Anything! But to be a little more specific, some examples of topics to bring to a coaching space include:

My career

professional growth and
development, career transitions, succession planning, motivation
at work, business start ups, time management.

My team
communication styles, resource management, building trust, strategic planning, conflict resolution.
My wellbeing
health, relationships, resilience, self esteem, anxiety, learning a new skill or hobby, setting personal goals, transitioning to a new season of life.

Where and when will I be coached?

Online

I do most of my coaching online. Once we agree on a date and time for the session I will send you a link to connect online.

Residential coaching package

Some clients may like to take a few days away from the normal hustle and bustle of life to create space for reflection. Exeter is easily accessible by car or train (just over 2 hours from London Paddington) and offers a scenic, peaceful countryside setting to retreat, reflect and rest. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about a residential coaching package which includes self-catered separate accommodation and coaching sessions.

In person

I also offer face to face coaching just outside of Exeter, Devon, UK. For in-person sessions, there is the option to sit and talk in a quiet room or walk and talk in a beautiful countryside setting.

Where and when do you offer workshops?

Workshops can be delivered in person (1-2 full days) or virtually (2-4 half days). The content can be tailored to suit the needs of your organisation. Please get in touch to find out more.

In-person workshops can be scheduled at a venue of your choosing.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary based on:

  • The number of sessions booked in advance.
  • Whether the organization is paying or the client is paying.
  • The client’s income. I offer reduced rates for self-paying clients on lower incomes.
  • Where the client is based. My rates are tailored for self-paying clients who are nationals of a different country.

I invoice at the end of each month in either GB pounds or US dollars, depending on the client’s location, and accept payment by bank transfer or PayPal if the client is paying from a bank account outside of the UK.

How do I get started?

If you would like to explore coaching or training opportunities, we can set up an initial call to discuss your needs and then decide how to proceed.

There is no set way to go about coaching, but a traditional package could include 4-6 sessions. The frequency of the sessions varies depending on the nature of the issues presented. Sessions can be 60 or 90 minutes, depending on your needs and preferences. There is also the option for an in-person half-day coaching session, depending on location.
